BANNU:
Former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtun-khuwa and Opposition leader Akram Khan Durrani has expressed hope that the senior political worker and legal expert Governor Masood Kausar, would accept the genuine demands of FR Bannu’s people and thereby remove the lingering sense of deprivation among the tribesmen. Akram Khan Durrani hoped that the Governor would address problems faced by tribals on a priority basis. He said these tribesmen are the guardians of our national borders and have rendered great services in the independence movement. He said that the government should take concrete measures to provide quality education to them along with health facilities. Durrani said power and irrigation projects should also be initiated on a priority basis in these areas. The former Chief Minister termed the Ahmadzai and Utmanzai tribes’ meeting with the Governor as a positive development.
