MADRID: Spanish sprinter Digna Luz Murillo has been dropped from the national team before she was due to compete in the European team championships after being found to have been working with a banned coach, the country’s athletics federation (RFEA) said. Murillo, Spain’s fastest woman over 100 metres in 2011, was found to have been working with Manuel Pascua, one of the coaches implicated in the ‘Operation Greyhound’ anti-doping investigation.  “The RFEA has decided to remove her from the team for a disciplinary infraction,” said a RFEA statement. “No athlete receiving financial support from the federation can train with him.”
