RAWALPINDI: The premier development agency of the garrison city has imposed a ban on the sale and purchase of plots and advertisement in housing societies which have failed to obtain final approval or submitted their layout plans.

Such housing societies have been warned that criminal cases will be registered against them and that they could even be sealed.

Warning letters were issued to four housing societies including Khanial Homes, Abdullah City, New Iqra City, and Al Mairaj Garden on Chakri Road. They were barred from advertising or selling their plots. They were further warned that unless they comply with the RDA’s directives, they could be sealed.

Show cause and warnings have also been issued to the companies they were using for marketing their projects.
