NCA: Ahmed appointed acting principal

Ahmad confirmed he would take charge as acting principal on Saturday.

LAHORE: Bashir Ahmed has been appointed as acting principal of the National College of Arts (NCA). He will take charge on Saturday, The Express Tribune has learnt. Ahmed who had been head of the Fine Arts Department has been appointed as acting principal. Earlier, NCA acting principal Fauzia Qureshi, who retired on Friday, did not hand over the charge to the senior-most teacher as has been the norm. Instead a notification  was sent from the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination to NCA stating that Ahmad had been appointed. The staff was informed through a circular about the ceremony of Ahmed’s taking office. Ahmad confirmed he would take charge as acting principal on Saturday.
