Pakistani sailors, who were recently released by Somali pirates, will reach Pakistan on the eve of Friday or the morning after.
The ship, M-V Suez, is being escorted by the Pakistan Navy and will reach Oman’s Salalah port on Friday evening.
Human rights activist Ansar Burney is scheduled to leave for Oman today to escort the sailors back to Pakistan.
Earlier, celebrations over the release of sailors turned sour as news of a fresh attack by another group of pirates reached Pakistan.
However, the sailors were able to ward off the attack. Pakistan Navy is since escorting them in their journey back.
