Blackberry Tablet: Cathay Pacific launches application

Passengers visiting Cathay's The Cabin lounge at Honk Kong international airport get a preview of the product.

KARACHI: Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a customised airline application for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, offering users access to a wide range of services including flight booking, check-in and information on the new Business Class product, according to a press release.

“We are the first to launch an official airline application for the BlackBerry PlayBook,” said Cathay Pacific Marketing Communications Manager Celine Ho. The airline said that although the BlackBerry PlayBook would go on sale in Hong Kong from early July, passengers visiting Cathay’s The Cabin lounge at the Hong Kong International Airport could get a preview of the product.
