Three killed, one injured in separate incidents in Quetta

Local police registers the cases and begins further investigation

QUETTA: As many as three people were killed and another injured in separate firing incidents in Quetta on Wednesday.

The victims included a woman and the injured was a teenage girl.

The first incident took place near a local madrasa located at Mitha Khan Chowk Pashtoon Abad area, where two students were reportedly killed when they were checking a weapon.

Victims were identified as Abdul Razzaq and Rasheed. The bodies were handed over to the families after legal formalities.

Local police registered the case and started further investigation.

Separately, a man killed his wife and injured his daughter over a family dispute at Killi Bangulzai Sariyab Road Quetta On Wednesday.

Police officials said that in a fit of anger over a family dispute, Muhammad Ashiq opened fire on his wife Bibi Sajida and daughter Bakhtawar. As a result, Bibi Sajida lost her life on the spot while her daughter sustained multiple bullet injuries.

Upon receiving information, local police reached the site and shifted the deceased and injured to the hospital.

Later, the body was handed over to the family after medico legal formalities.
