Fire in Faisalabad factory: losses worth over Rs1m

FAISALABAD: Cotton bales and cloth worth over Rs1 million were reduced to ashes due to an inferno in a factory in Faisalabad.

Rescue 1122 fire fighters claim that an electric short circuit triggered the fire that engulfed the entire godown within a span of minutes.

The Roof of the factory godown also collapsed, however, no case of injury to the firefighters or the factory staff was reported.

Firefighters made all efforts to control that blaze that lasted for almost six hours.
