Gen Al Rowali calls on Gen Qamar at GHQ

The Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Army (RSA) General Faiyad bin Hamed Al Rowali has appreciated Pakistan Army's role in training their armed forces.

Al Rowali called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.

Geo-strategic environment along with ways to bolster bilateral defence cooperation were touched upon in the meeting.

Gen Al Rowali thanked army for training the RSA both in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

"Gen Al Rowali also acknowledged the high standards of professionalism of the Pakistan Army," the military's media wing added.

The COAS reiterated that Pakistan Army took it as a responsibility to extend full assistance to the RSA.

On his arrival Gen Al Rowali laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and was presented a guard of honour.
