K-P health minister vows to uplift Khyber

I assure that the government will end their deprivations: Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan

PESHAWAR: Provincial Health Minister Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan on Tuesday said that for the last 70 years, the people of the tribal areas were deprived of their fundamental rights and basic facilities, which was an injustice with these people.

I assure that the government will end their deprivations and they will be provided with the same facilities which were being provided to their fellow citizens in other parts of the country, Dr Hisham said. He expressed these views while addressing local elders in the Tirah Maidan area of the Khyber tribal district on Tuesday.

Dr Hisham was the first minister in the history of the country to visit Tirah Maidan.
