QUETTA: A First Information Report (FIR) was lodged on Friday against four guards of a serving minister for torturing police personnel outside the CM Secretariat.
According to details, the Civil Line Police lodged FIR against provincial Public Health Engineering (PHE) Minister Noor Muhammad Dummar’s four guards for assaulting police personnel outside the CM Secretariat.
A scuffle between policemen deputed outside the CM House and provincial minister’s driver and relatives took place over minor argument.
The minister’s driver and guards manhandled the staff of special branch and Civil Line Police Station.
The police on Friday lodged FIR on behalf of Special Branch’s soldier Zahid Ahmed against minister’s guards.
He alleged that despite the presence of minister, his driver and guards tortured policemen who were performing routine duty outside at the CM House.
