Mou: Integrating technology in classrooms

Intel Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday to promote the integration of information and communication technology in education via various Intel teach programmes, said a press release issued by AIOU.

The enhanced design of the Intel Teach Program portfolio enables teachers to adopt 21st century learning with a project-based approach in the classroom. Intel Teach will use the “Train the Trainer” model and provides face-to-face and online instructions to help teachers integrate technology into their classrooms.

“Our objective is to provide trainee teachers hands-on experience with technology-aided teaching methods,” PR Manager Intel Pakistan Asma Aziz. She said more than 288,591 teachers have been trained in over 70 districts and cities in the country.
