Yasinzai calls for proper surveys

Governor says it will help in recruitment process

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Amanullah Yasinzai has stressed the need for qualitative surveys to record provincial data.

Addressing a workshop on Monday, the governor said surveys based on updated and precise information play a pivotal role in the development of nations. This mode of management helps the recruitment process, he added.



He said that due to the absence of accurate surveys of the poor segments of society, welfare-oriented policies and schemes could not bring expected and satisfactory results in the past.

Yasinzai said "Even today it is a huge challenge for the government to allocate sufficient resources for poor segments due to the absence of precise surveys."

He said that proper surveys would result in the right allocation of funds.

Yasinzai urged for the survey of poor sections of the society so that no one is deprived of government run social welfare programmes.
