QUETTA: Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind said on Friday his party believes in public politics and working to bring development according to the people’s issues.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership is aware of public woes and soon these will be resolved, said Rind, who is also PTI President for Balochistan chapter, while talking to various delegations on Friday.
The incumbent government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team are capable of taking the nation out of the difficult situation, he added.

“Once corruption is stamped out, the country would be on the right path… some quarters have been spreading false propaganda against the PTI government and against our vision of corruption-free Pakistan,” Rind said, dispelling negative things said about him on social media.

The MPA said the provincial leadership of PTI is obeying all decisions taken by the central party leadership.

“Our preparations have been completed for local body elections and the PTI will emerge as a leading party in Balochsitan,” he added.

Talking to reporters in Dera Murad Jamali on January 7, Rind urged the chief justice of Pakistan and the National Accountability Bureau to investigate mega corruption of Rs850 billion in government funds to end the sense of deprivation among the people of the province.

He said: “People of this mineral-rich province have been looking for clean water and other basic facilities, but ironically the funds given by the federal government for the purpose have gone to waste due to corruption”.

Despite receiving Rs850 billion funds from the federal government, not a single mega development project started in the province, he lamented.

Unfortunately, he added, public money has been looted in the name of development and prosperity of Balochistan.

“Instead of witnessing prosperity in Balochistan, the deprived people are facing the worst situation ever as they are without basic human rights and facilities, including clean water and healthcare,” said Rind.

He urged NAB and CJP to conduct an investigation into mega corruption in Balochistan and hold accountable the culprits, who caused losses to the national exchequer.

Sharing his views on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s foreign visits, Rind said, “PM Imran has received a positive response from international partners.”
