LAHORE: The SC has summoned an 11-member committee, including the federal health minister, in Islamabad on Monday (today) in order to devise a strategy to remove all technical and government barriers in the way of research on artificial skin and preparation of affordable medicines for hepatitis patients.

A two-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, was hearing a petition of public interest filed by Dr Javed Akram and Dr Riaz at the SC Lahore registry on Sunday.
