Addressing the faculty and students, research supervisor Dr Rasool Khan said that Muhammad Mansoor Saad Qaraza’s study of two different plants from Yemen and Pakistan will help in fighting against and curing cancer.
The research, he added, has also helped develop a new field of study in the field of Organic Chemistry.

On the occasion, the Yemeni vice ambassador in Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Azizuddin, read out a message from Qaraza’s parents, who expressed gratitude to the people of Pakistan, particularly of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, for their son’s achievement.
During the research, Dr Murad Ali Khan from Kohat University and Dr Manzoor from Malakand University served as external examiners, while Prof Dr Bashir Ahmed acted as internal examiner.
A large number of Yemeni students enrolled in Pakistani universities as well as Chinese and Turkish professors were present on the occasion.
