Meeting: Promote tolerance, teachers told

UAF Vice Chancellor stresses the need for developing patience, tolerance and accountability

FAISALABAD: University of Faisalabad (UAF) Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa stressed the need for developing patience, tolerance and accountability. He expressed these views while addressing the non-teaching staff at Iqbal Auditorium on Thursday. He said that currently in society, people were being denied their rights.  He urged participants to play their role in the development of the country. He added that all faculty members must avail their recreational leaves as it will enhance their efficiency.  He maintained that the university was framing a comprehensive plan to get students to participate in policy making at the varsity. He also stated that the quality of teaching has been compromised due to a large number of students enrolling at the varsity; the campus has a capacity of 8,000 students which has reached 28,000. UAF Registrar Muhammad Hussain and UAF Deputy Registrar Qamaruddin Bukahri also spoke at the occasion.
