Petroleum minister directs to resolve issues

The federal minister said that all public complaints will be resolved soon

Federal Petroleum and Natural Resources Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Monday directed the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Rawalpindi Regional Manager M Zahoor and Chief Engineer Javed Khan to resolve the communal complaints of low gas pressure from residents of the garrison city.

He said that he will not tolerate any sort of delaying tactics in this regards and directed the SNGPL officials to add extra gas in the system through substitute sources.

Ghulam further directed to submit a report on the matter.

He added that Sales Transmission (SMS) should be used so that extra gas from Rawat can be utilised in areas which need it most. Moreover, he suggested that upgrading the pipeline could resolve the issue of low gas pressure.

The federal minister said that all public complaints will be resolved soon.
