The post mortem report showed that the upper half of the child’s body had been mutilated and that various organs, including the heart, were missing. Police added that dogs had also ravaged the deceased’s body. Meanwhile, police have taken several suspects into custody and are currently investigating the incident.
Three-year-old girl left to die in cold after rape in Abbottabad
Reportedly, six-year-old H* from Kotla Jam went missing after going to school on December 13. When the child did not return home, his father registered a case at the Saddar Bhakkar police station. However, despite the search efforts the child could not be recovered.
On December 22, the mutilated body of the child was recovered from fields in Darya Khan, near the Ali Lak Government Primary School. Bhakkar DPO Shaista Nadeem and her team reached the spot and called in a forensic team from Sargodha to gather evidence.
On December 26, the Lahore High Court (LHC) demanded the Bhakkar District and Sessions Court judge to submit a report on the incident.
