Protest: Buildings submerged in sewerage water

Residents organised a protest, demanding muncipal officials to drain out the sewerage.

MIRPURKHAS: Buildings, including the Pakistan Railways residential quarters, were submerged under water after sewerage lines overflowed on Sunday. Residents organised a protest, demanding muncipal officials to drain out the sewerage. The Mirpurkhas town municipal administrator, Abdul Wahab Abbasi, said efforts were underway to drain out the water but old broken gutter lines were causing problems for workers.
