Nashrah foundation: Mehfil-e-Durrani organized

Baba Muhammad Obaidullah Durrani Chair is established at the civil engineering department of SSUET

KARACHI: The Nashrah Foundation organised the annual Mehfil-e-Durrani to remember the services and contribution of Baba Muhammad Obaidullah Durrani. “Baba Durrani was the driving force behind the establishment of the Aligarh Engineering University and he installed various machines at the university,” said Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology VC Prof. Dr Saiyid Nazir Ahmed, who was taught by Durrani at Aligarh Engineering University. The creation of the Baba Muhammad Obaidullah Durrani Chair at the civil engineering department was announced in the evening as well.
