KARACHI: Renowned transplant surgeons, academics and decision-makers from across the globe gathered for a day-long seminar at SIUT on Thursday. They underscored the need for every country to develop a national transplant programme based on ethical practices, transparency and well-being of patients. The seminar titled, ‘Update in Organ Transplantation,’ was addressed by the former president of American Society of Transplant Surgeons, Dr Nancy Ascher, Dr Francis Delmonico from Harvard Medical School, Dr John Roberts and SIUT Director Prof Adib Rizvi.
