Crime : 4.6kg hashish seized, two held

TARNOL: The Tarnol police on Thursday apprehended two drug traffickers including a woman in separate actions and seized 4.61kg from their possession.  Acting on a tip-off, the police raided two houses and arrested Anwar Shad and Azra Bibi. Upon search of their houses, the police seized 3.11kg of hashish from Anwar and 1.5kg from Azra. The police registered separate cases against them under anti-narcotics law and started investigation. Meanwhile, a man was arrested for possessing unlicenced weapon. The police said, they intercepted Adnan during patrolling in Shaheenabad area of Tarnol and seized a 30-bore pistol and five bullets from him.
