Actor shared a series of pictures on Instagram with a heartfelt caption regarding ex-wife

The announcement of Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan's split came as a shock to many, if not everyone. The two decided to go their separate ways after 14 years of marriage, leaving fans heartbroken.

As neither of them revealed the real reason for their breakup, many rumours began making rounds. Nonetheless, the pair managed to shut down all such speculations by remaining friends, reported India Today.

Who says you have to be bitter with ex? Hrithik and Sussanne didn't allow their divorce to get in the way and are still pretty close. Sussanne even supported Hrithik through his feud with fellow actor Kangana Ranaut. From parties to vacations, the two have been spotted together on more than one occasion since their split in 2014. They still share a special bond and stick together as a family for their children, Hrehaan and Hridhaan.

Recently, the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara star posted a series of photos on his Instagram. The pictures featured Sussanne and their kids. "Here is Sussanne, my closest friend (also my ex wife) capturing a moment with me and our boys. A moment in itself," read the caption.

It continued, "It tells a story to our kids. That in a world separated by lines and ideas, it is still possible to be united. And that you can want different things as people and yet stay undivided. Here's to a more united, tolerant, brave, open and loving world. It all starts at home."

To this, Sussanne commented, "This is us. Always and beyond forever..." How sweet?! More power to the pair for spreading love and teaching their children the value of family.
