ISLAMABAD: After two teachers of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) were fired for raising their voice against alleged corruption in the varsity, the entire faculty and teaching cadre of the varsity is restless.

A delegation of the teachers is also expected to hold a meeting with the IIUI President Dr Yousaf Al Darwesh today.

Two professors from IIUI’s Computer Science Department including Dr Shehzad Ashraf and Dr Hasnain Naqvi of the varsity had raised their voice over alleged corruption and misconduct. Students of the department had also staged a rally against the alleged corruption and misconduct in the department.

The varsity administration, though, had opted to fire the two professors.
