Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Imran Khan for his earlier comment, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah said on Saturday that "even dictators don't compare themselves to Hitler and Napoleon,” Express News reported.

Addressing the District Bar in Sukkar on Saturday, the former opposition leader stated "People are worried after hearing PM Imran's statement," adding that Hitler has emerged in the garb of a democratic leader.

“We only have a couple of years which saw democratic rule uninterrupted by dictators," Shah stated and added that he was ashamed at the language being used in the parliament.

Not a real leader if one doesn't take timely U-turn: PM

"It is the opposition's job to critisise the government, if the opposition doesn't criticise, how will the government rectify itself,” the opposition leader went on to add, "we won't interfere in personal matters, however steps like not living in the PM house won't save money."

"Exports and investment are falling, imports rising," Shah said.

The opposition leader stated that being a member of the bar of the province's third largest city is a privilege. "We fought for the rights of provinces and even went to jail for it.

“Federation will strengthen when provinces get their rights. It is the need of the hour that the federation strengthens.”

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif also responded to PM Imran's 'U-turn statement' on Saturday saying that "Imran Khan would take a U-turn on this statement as well."

Asif tweeted that it's only a matter of time before premier takes a U-turn on Friday's statement.
