4 celebrity marriages to look forward to

The stage is almost set for some of the biggest celebrity weddings we are oh-so-keen to witness. With exotic locations, extravagant dresses, elaborate menus and all the little details executed to the T, some A-listers go the extra mile to make their big day memorable.

While Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh are just a few days away from tying the knot in an intimidate affair at Lake Como, Italy, here is a list of celebrity couples who will be taking the plunge anytime soon.

1. Aiman Khan and Muneeb Bhatt

The television sweethearts made it official last year in January. But just a few weeks ago, Aimen took to Instagram to post pictures of her kick off dholki. However, there hasn’t been any other event since.

While Aiman’s first festivity was in full swing, Muneeb was away for work commitments. The starlet is currently on vacation in the Middle East. The duo has left us in suspense and we hope their wedding celebrations resume soon.

2. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

After years of speculation, Bollywood’s ‘It’ couple finally made their relationship official last month. One of the finest onscreen couples of this age, Deepika and Ranveer announced they will be tying the knot in Lake Como on November 14, followed by an event on November 15.

The couple landed in Italy on Saturday and is rumoured to be hosting a grand reception in India next month. The #DeepVeer destination wedding will only comprise close friends and family while the huge bash in India will cater to the bigwigs of Bollywood.

3. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

It all started with a baseball match. While the former Miss World and Disney star were first spotted at the Met Gala last year, rumours surfaced when they were seen riding a boat together in the US and later captured holding hands on several dinner dates.

The couple got engaged in a roka ceremony in India and has been going strong since. Priyanka has kept her social media fans busy of late, posting pictures from her multiple bridal showers and bachelorettes. And, in recent development, the pair obtained their marriage license in the US last week. We might hear wedding bells sooner than we thought!

4. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas

The Game of Thrones star and the older Jonas brother recently celebrated their year-long engagement. While there might be another Jonas wedding soon, we doubt Joe will beat Nick to it.

While the couple is going strong, we don’t think we’re getting to see them walk down the aisle anytime this year. Here’s hoping the wedding ceremony turns out better than the Red Wedding!
