Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are undoubtedly two of the biggest stars of Bollywood. Each of them have had successful runs at the box office ever since the 90s and their star power doesn't seem to fade away anytime soon. The two have also starred in various films together such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and in recent times, also played cameos in each other's films.

If speculations are to be believed, Shah Rukh and Salman will be joining hands for a family drama helmed by none other than, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A source told the publication, "Salman and Shah Rukh will be reuniting on screen for a two-hero film that will be directed by Bhansali. A family drama about friend-turned-foes, the film will be along the lines of the Dilip Kumar-Raj Kumar starrer Saudagar (1991) and will see them share equal footage."

The insider added that the superstars have always been keen on doing a film together and Bhansali's project seemed to be the perfect opportunity. "They have agreed to it in principle, but Bhansali might take as long as nine months to complete the final draft. He hasn't started casting yet and will approach the stars only after he finalises his script. If everything goes according to plan, the project may roll mid-next year," concluded the source.
