Last week's amusing episode of Koffee with Karan featured Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone on the couch, where the girls talked about their relationships and personal lives. This Sunday, the show brought together the boys of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, and needless to say, they stole the show.

The show kicked off with praises. Film-maker and host of the chat show Karan Johar lauded Akshay for constantly making hit after hit since the 90s. He also complimented Ranveer for his splendid performances in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Moving on, the host discussed Ranveer's first meeting with the Khiladi actor.

The groom-to-be shared that he had visited the set of Keemat back in 1998 when he was only about 13-years-old. Ranveer was stunned to see Raveena Tandon but was asked by the security personnel to leave. Upon turning back, Akshay placed his hand on Ranveer's shoulder and told him that he liked his hairstyle. The two clicked a picture together, which was also shown on the show, and laughed about it.

The 51-year-old expressed his fondness for the Befikre actor. He said that Ranveer reminds him of himself because he feels that both of them have similar antics.

What followed were numerous pictures of Ranveer in the most bizarre outfits. Speaking of his fashion choices which have often been on the radar, the actor revealed that his outrageous attires were usually hand-me-downs from KJo himself.

But their fun times were not the only things discussed in the show. Ranveer confessed that he is afraid of roller coasters - something that not many would expect of him as he's always seemed to be very fearless. He added that if given the chance to work with one of the Khans of the industry, he would love to be cast opposite Taimur Ali Khan someday. Ranveer continued, "If Taimur chooses to enter Bollywood once he's grown up, I'd love to essay his father in a film."

Later, Karan asked them about their worst traits as a significant other to which the Gunday actor said that he is always late on dates and needs to work on his punctuality. Akshay revealed that his wife Twinkle Khanna gets upset when he can't keep himself from checking sports updates.

While the rapid fire round ended in a tie, Akshay won the gaming segment. The actors were asked to called any Bollywood star and make them say, "Hey Karan, it's me." Ranveer called best friend Arjun Kapoor. Noticing this, Akshay called the Namaste England actor as well and asked him to do the same. While Ranveer later called Deepika, Akshay turned to his wife for help. Taking the present home, the Hera Pheri actor dialed friend Riteish Deshmukh's number and asked him to say the same.

While the show ended with Karan wishing luck to Akshay and Ranveer for their upcoming venture, a preview of next week's episode featured Aamir Khan as a solo guest. Malaika Arora will be also be making a special appearance in the upcoming episode.
