A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar inquired details about how much money was involved in the scam.
During the hearing, Justice Ejaz ul Hasan said plots were formed on 25000 kanal land even though they were supposed to be made on 13000 kanal land.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation officer informed the court that plots were sold to 10,421 people and the company did not allot a plot to anyone.
"Land was purchased for Rs2.1 billion. 30 bank accounts were owned by the company from which Rs4 billion were transferred to Kamran Kayani by DHA city," the NAB officer informed the court. "A fraud worth Rs15 billion took place."
Upon hearing this, Justice Nisar said he does not doubt NAB's investigation. "Hammad and Murad Arshad played the primary role in this scam."
Subsequently, NAB arrested Arshad from outside the SC premises.
