Cricket: Shilingford cleared by ICC

ST JOHN’S: West Indies off-spinner Shane Shillingford has received clearance from the International Cricket Council (ICC) to resume bowling at international level after he was reported for an illegal action. The West Indies Cricket Board was informed by the ICC following a biomechanical analysis undertaken by a research team at the University of Western Australia on May 25. “I’m extremely happy that I’ve been cleared to continue playing international cricket,” said Shillingford.
