Faysal Quraishi to return to films with 'Sorry: A Love Story'

Project will go on floors in early 2019 and release later in the same year

KARACHI: With a plethora of films having released in recent years, it's easy to say that Pakistani cinema is flourishing. The likes of Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa have remained consistent with their silver screen projects but actor Faysal Quraishi has been off the radar for quite some time. In recent news, the artist will be making a film comeback with Sorry: A Love Story.

In a press conference held in Karachi, Faysal along with director Sohail Javed announced that the two will be joining hands for the feature film. The event was attended by the big guns of the industry namely Humayun, Fahad, Samina Peerzada, Nadeem Beyg, Adnan Siddiqui, Mansha Pasha, Javed Sheikh, Abdullah Kadwani, Ahsan Rahim and many more.

Produced under the banner of SJ Films and Faysal Quraishi films, Sorry: A Love Story is a romantic drama, co-written by Asma Nabeel. It is about the ups and downs of love - finding it, losing it and then finding it again. Along with Faysal, the star-studded cast includes Aamina Sheikh, Sonya Hussyn and Zahid Ahmed. Other notable stars from the industry will also be seen as supporting actors in the film.

Sorry's original score will be produced by renowned singer Abbas Ali Khan. Other musicians will also be a part of the original soundtrack album. The film is to be shot in both Pakistan and an international location. It will go on floors in early 2019 and is expected to release the same year.
