Explosion: Gas lead kills 3, injures 5

Three people were killed, while five others were injured in a gas pipeline explosion on Khaiyali Road on Sunday. According to Rescue 1122, the gas pipeline passing near a private hospital on Khaiyali Road suddenly burst, causing the collapse of a bank building near the hospital. As a result, security guard Shahid Saleem and electrician Suhail Ahmad died on the spot. The two men were trapped under the debris, while a youth identified as Zahid, who was present in the parking lot of the hospital was also killed on impact. Rescue 1122 personnel and Edhi workers rushed to the spot and shifted five injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, where two are said to be in critical condition. The bodies have been shifted to the DHQ hospital and police officials are investigating.
