Cheaters caught: Boy sitting exam for his friend

On Sunday afternoon, Inspector Shamsi caught Muhammad Imran Akram posing as student Sohail Ahmed.

KHANEWAL: An Education Board Inspector Dr Abdul Ghafoor Shamsi has arrested an impersonator appearing in the first year exams in place of the listed candidate. On Sunday afternoon, Shamsi caught Muhammad Imran Akram posing as student Sohail Ahmed (Roll no 719119) from the Govt Islamia High School and filed a case against him. Shamsi called police officials to the scene and Akram was arrested for cheating and forgery. The registered student, Sohail Ahmed has also been taken in for questioning in this regard. Police officials have filed a case against both students and said that Akram was sitting the exam for his friend after he had been paid to do so.
