QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said the government and private educational intuitions have played an essential role for provision of education in the province.

Addressing a graduation ceremony of Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) Grade-5 Learners in BAEC programme on Friday, he said that the progress of a nation is linked with the provision of quality education, and urged equal right to education for all.

The governor regretted that millions of children in the age group of five and 16 years were deprived of education in the province. He said the government was taking measures to ensure education for all children.

Yasinzai said that steps were taken to ensure attendance of teachers at schools. He stressed an urgent need for introducing a uniform syllabus in government and private schools.
