Nawaz chairs party huddle in Lahore

Strategy for upcoming by-polls discussed

Deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Moday chaired a meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) central executive committee in the provincial capital.

Senior party leaders including Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Chaudhry Sher Ali, Ameer Muqam and Engineer Khurram Datagir Khan along with others were also present at the meeting.



During the meeting, important issues, including the arrest of PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif and the party's strategy for the upcoming by-elections was discussed.

The PML-N huddle will also focused on what the party refers to as 'politics of revenge'.

 



On Sunday, Nawaz met Shehbaz at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office in Lahore where the PML-N leader is serving a 10-day remand handed down by the accountability court on Saturday.

Shehbaz maintained his stance that he had served the nation and did not engage in any corruption.
