Dhis Training: Three-day workshop ends

Three-day workshop arranged by FATA Health Directorate for medical practitioners and paramedics.

A three-day workshop arranged by FATA Health Directorate for medical practitioners and paramedics from FR Peshawar, FR Kohat and Khyber Agency concluded on Friday.


Doctors and paramedics from all districts participated in the workshop, where they received extensive training on reporting tools and instruments of District Health Information System (DHIS).

Addressing the concluding ceremony, Director Health Dr Fawad Khan said DHIS was the backbone of health services in the province. He said the government was committed to addressing the problems of tribesmen and aimed to provide medical services to them at their doorsteps. DHIS Co-Coordinator Dr Mushtaq Ahmad highlighted the need to improve reporting systems in FATA for better planning and policy making. Khan also distributed certificates to the participants.
