Default settings: Revenue Dept auctions 2 properties

Revenue Department decided to auction the defaulters’ properties.

FAISALABAD: The Land Revenue Department will auction confiscated properties of two income tax defaulters here on June 24.

According to Revenue Department officials, National Hosiery Mills Private Limited has a tax liability of Rs 4.86 million, while Mukhtar Textile Mills Private Limited also failed to clear its dues amounting to Rs 9.367 million for the year 2011. The Revenue Department has decided to auction the defaulters’ properties situated in Chak No.207-RB and Chak No.338-JB Gojra on June 24.

“We have issued several warnings to both companies but they did not pay their dues in time. Now we are taking action,” said Revenue official Sardar Karimullah.
