Civil hospital’s physiotherapy and x-ray departments have been unable to work for the last eight days because of a blackout. Patients said the administration has not responded to their concerns about the power breakdown, which was caused by technical faults that developed after wires caught fire at the OPD. The childcare department, ENT and orthopedic departments are also facing problems. The hospital’s medical superintendent, Prof Saeed Qureshi, said a complaint has been registered at the KESC Complaint Centre and the problem is expected to be fixed soon.
