Police said the victims, identified as Haseeb, 18, Hamza, 20 and Amir, 21, were on their way home when a speeding passenger bus rammed into their motorcycle near General Post Office Chowk. As a result, they suffered serious injuries. They were shifted to Mayo Hospital where doctors pronounced Haseeb and Hamza dead.
The bus driver managed to escape after the accident. Police are looking into the case.

Meanwhile, a large number of people protested against the murder of a worker allegedly at the hands of a factory owner in Manwan. The protesters took to the streets and blocked GT Road. They also chanted slogans against police and the culprit, alleging the latter was not providing justice and siding with the accused as he was influential.
The victim, identified as Muhammad Nadeem, worked at an industrial unit run by Muhammad Imran in Manawan. Two days ago, the victim had a brief altercation with the accused over a delay in the payment of his wages. In a fit of rage, Imran allegedly shot Nadeem dead. An FIR had been registered against the accused, but police have yet to arrest him.
Later in the day, three persons suffered burns in a house fire near the Gunbat Wali Masjid in Janjaty Village near Adda Plot, Raiwind City. Police said the victims, identified as Khalida Abbass, 30, and her two daughters, Amina Abbas, 10, and Sadia Abbass, 6, were inside their house. Suddenly, a wheat box fell on the burner. Resultantly, the house caught fire.
When locals saw the house is on fire, they informed the police. Rescue teams reached the site, extinguished the fire, evacuated the victims and shifted them to a nearby hospital where their condition was said to be stable.
