FC foils terror bid in Kohlu

QUETTA: Acting on a tip off, the Frontier Corps Balochistan raided a compound in Kohlu and confiscated a large cache of arms and explosives meant for creating unrest in the province.

The FC on Monday seized a large cache of arms, explosives and ammunition from a hideout being used by terrorists.

Four missiles, 11 mortars, one RPG 7 rocket, explosive material and hundreds of rounds were confiscated during the raid conducted by the paramilitary troops.

“The terrorists had dumped arms and explosives for terrorist activities in Balochistan, but timely action thwarted the terror bid,” said security sources.
The raid was a part of the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
