Road accidents: At least 43 people hurt in two crashes

KHAIRPUR: At least 43 people were hurt in two accidents on Wednesday.

A passenger bus collided with a trailer near Tharhi Bypass, injuring 27 people, including Saeed Khatoon, Sachan Dini, Pathani, Peero, Shahrukh, Sakina, Elahi Bux, Imran, Shaukat, Meeral, Ismail, Abdul Shakoor, Manzoor Hyder Bux and Abdul Majeed Tanwari.

The bus was heading towards a shrine in Sehwan Sharif .

The injured were taken to Civil Hospital, Khairpur and Civil Hospital, Sukkur.

The Baberloi police arrested the bus driver and impounded the bus.

Separately, 16 people were injured when a bus overturned after its tyre burst near Hingorja on National Highway.

The injured, including Muhammad Sharif, Ajeeban, Rukhsana, Zahira, Haneefan and Imamzadi, were taken to Hingorja hospital.
