Hundreds of liquor bottles seized in Faisalabad

            Police claimed to have seized a large number of liquor bottles during a raid at a factory in Faisalabad on Wednesday. An official from Gulberg police station told Express News that a police team was patrolling the area when they received information that accused Waseem Pehalwan and Shehzad Masih were running an illegal liquor factory in Christian Town. On the information recieved, police raided the spot and caught the men red-handed manufacturing liquor. He maintained that police also confiscated hundreds of liquor bottles and other items from the scene. Later, the police official said that the accused’s accomplices identified as Nadeem Masih, Chand Masih, Noman Masih and others reached the spot and put up resistance. They also manhandled policemen and used abusive language. Police have registered a case against the culprits. Further investigations are under way.
