RAWALPINDI: A colourful musical night was arranged in Islamabad’s upscale DHA neighbourhood saw the “Teefa in Trouble” star Ali Zafar belt out rock songs along with the band Josh, mesmerising the audience. Youngsters were seen dancing to Zafar’s tune.

The musical night had been co-sponsored by McDonalds, Express Media Group and the DHA Administration in DHA Islamabad Phase-II Jacaranda Family Club. Participants from the twin cities and DHA witnessed the event.

With Zafar performing his 10 most-famous songs live, he compelled the audience to rise to their feet. He rolled back the years with a vintage performance reminding people just why the pop and rock mix of the mid-2000’s was so popular and turned him into one of the country’s top musical talents.

The participants also recorded the performance of their favourite musician on their mobile phones.

The musical night began with a performance by the band Josh, during which the band won the hearts of the audience and its every song was enjoyed by the audience.

The audience openly praised Zafar and Josh band for its performance. The disco lights added to the beauty of the musical evening. Prior to Zafar’s performance, the audience was shown the trailer of “Teefa in Trouble”.

As Zafar took to the stage, the audience came forward and sat on the carpet below the stage.

The Channo singer interacted with the audience before every song. Many youngsters in the musical night danced below the stage as Zafar played his favourite songs on the request of the audience — the price of that was for the requester to introduce themselves.

Many boys and girls came to the stage to sing their favourite songs which ushered in an environment of competition. Every performer tried to outdo the previous performer and earned praise from his family.

During the conclusion of the musical night, young girls and boys took selfies with Zafar and asked for his autographs. The high-spirited youngsters praised Zafar’s film and requested that he continue to make more such films.

At the end of the musical night, the participants said that they really enjoyed the event and requested for such events to be organised in the future as well so that they could see their favourite actors in live action.

Audience members said that after watching the trailer for “Teefa in Trouble” they had a desire to meet him in person which has been fulfilled today. The youngsters also commended the Josh band for its performance.
