Reconstruction of 113 schools completed in K-P

Work started on reconstruction og more than 80 schools damaged due to floods

PESHAWAR: Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Settlement Authority Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (RRSA-K-P) has completed reconstruction of 113 schools in insurgency hit areas in the province under USAID K-P Reconstruction Programme.

Reconstruction of eight flood damaged schools, five fully damaged BHUs were completed in Malakand division said a spokesman on Saturday.

Rehabilitation of seven partially damaged BHUs were completed while one is in near to completion in same area.

Similarly, reconstruction of flood damaged Amandara and Munda Head works completed and operated.

The reconstruction of flood damaged Mingora and Khwazakhaila bridges were also completed meanwhile nine drinking water supply schemes were completed of 23 in Swat and Buner.

Works have been started on the reconstruction of more than 80 flood damaged schools in parts of the province.
