Dispute among students claims three lives

Group leaving on motorbikes after reconciliation opened fire on by opposing party.

FAISALABAD: Three people were killed after a dispute erupted between students in the Behtar Gadian area of Faisalabad on Monday.

The dispute started with an argument between two students of Government Higher Secondary School, relatives and neighbours went to the school to settle the dispute. After reconciliation, one of the groups was leaving on motorbikes when the opposing group opened fire on them.

Three people, including two students, were killed and two injured as a result of the firing.

Police have opened investigations into the incident.
