Man kills father, stepmother in Lahore

Police officials say the son committed the crime with the help of his friends

LAHORE: A man allegedly killed his father and stepmother at their house on Ravi Road on Friday. Police said the deceased, Shahbaz, lived with his third wife, Saira. On Friday, Shahbaz’s son Ali, along with his friends, barged into the couple’s house and opened fire at them, killing them on the spot. The accused persons fled the scene. Ali held grudge against his father for leaving his mother and marrying for the third time, said police, adding that Shahbaz had three wives. Later, the police arrested accused Waqas.
