KARACHI: A new video going viral on social media shows Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s vice chairman for Karachi’s district South, Mansoor Sheikh, scuffling at an automobile showroom in the Shahrae Faisal area of the metropolis.

Reportedly, the scuffle took place on July 30 after Sheikh’s vehicle delivery was delayed. He claimed that he had visited the showroom to inquire about the delivery date of his vehicle when the staff allegedly assaulted him.

“The incident happened after July 25,” Sheikh clarified. He also claimed that the delivery was due on July 11 and that he has registered an FIR at the Shahrae Faisal police station. “I went to talk to the owner in his room when he assaulted me.”

However, Express News reported that Sheikh, along with his accomplices, vandalised the showroom. Reports reveal that a female staff member of the showroom was also ‘harassed’ in the process.

Sheikh also blamed the private security guards at the showroom for aerial firing outside the premises. The showroom owners, however, told Express News that Sheikh’s guards started the firing. “By using his political clout, he has registered the FIR against us.”
