ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Citizens Committee welcomed the newly elected government in-waiting, hoping it will pay special attention for upgrading the living conditions of the local people.

In a meeting, the committee asserted that the government should try its best to fulfill their promises as given in its manifesto, ensuring a better future of the people.

It pledged to extend full support to the new government, hoping it would give top priority to addressing the grievances of the residents of the federal capital.

ICCI reminds PTI of promise to resolve rent control act issue

According to a press release issued here, the Islamabad Citizens Committee held its special session to commemorate Pakistan's 72nd Independence Day.

The meeting was presided over by ICC Secretary General Haji Dawood Khoker. Those who addressed the meeting included ICC senior member Syed Muhammd Saddiq Hasan and M Aftab.
