LAHORE: Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary Saqib Zafar directed concerned officers to prepare recommendations for restructuring the Punjab Pharmacy Council (PPC) along modern lines to meet present day challenges.
He said this while presiding over the 98th meeting of the council on Thursday.
He said that revolutionary steps would be taken in this regard. He further directed that instead of bi-annually meetings, quarterly meetings of the council should be organized for better management.
The health Secretary directed the council to prepare recommendations to introduce reforms. It was proposed that renewing the registration of drug inspectors should be made conditional with their performance.
